- Kids -driveway puts kids & community in danger
we need support in boycotting and protesting a drive that endangers the lives of our school's young children. there is a mcdonald's right on the other side of our school playground that has been there for years. now they want to add a drive that the school's children would have to cross to get to the light to cross a major street. the fact of the matter is, is that we are trying to stop mcdonald's from allowing this new 3rd drive way to be constructed right near the exit drive of our school and right by the playground and where children from the elementary would have to cross everyday. there is also a rec center located across from the school, and that rec center provides free, hot-meals to the underprivilaged in our city - which means all people in the vicinity who would be walking across the proposed driveway would be in danger of being hit by a motorist and possibly killed. this is going on in kent, ohio and we need every bit of help we can get. please e-mail myself and mcdonald's corp in your support. www.mcdonalds.com/corporate/info/contacts/comments/index.html None.
