Most of his "glossy sugar coated stats" are indeed very well established, well researched, widely accepted facts. There is no comparison between the harmfull effects of legalized drugs (alchohol, perscription medications, commercial tabacco, caffein) and the side effects of illegal drugs such as pot and natural psychodelics. This opinion (observation) is not held exclusively by statisticians - it is the opion of most educated people including many respected health professionals. Your belief to the contrary is based largly on cheap media propaganda and frightened, confused, missinformed highschool administrators and teachers of which your parents (and probably most of the people around you) are the product of also.
I see that you have no problem beleiving that some of your cigarettes may have been laced with marijuana. Does this mean that you are retracting your claim of having completely abstained from illegal drugs
for 10 years and that you no longer have this to be proud of? Have you been buying only "special" cigarettes that none of us no about that claim on the package not to contain marijuana?
In regards to your last comment about illegal drugs made by your body:
Clearly, at least one of Gideon's points is that you probably cannot survive without these illegal substances in your body and, if we can assume that you are alive, then you are probably "on" these drugs right now or at least have been in the last ten years. Are you saying that you agree with this? Are you then retracting your claim that you have been free of illegal drugs for the last ten years?
