Gee, I dropped out of highschool and it was the best thing I ever did in my life. I finished at home via a correspondence school, went on to college, and have enjoyed a very rewarding career. I make enough money to not have to work for most of the year which gives me the freedom to do all of the fun things that I enjoy even more than working and making lots of money, such as playing on the internet and talking to kids like you that know close to nothing about reality. Among my peers AND EVEN MY ELDERS I am considered to be VERY succesfull. If I had it to do all over again I would have begged my parents when I was 5 year old never to send me to a public school. If I ever have children, they will never set foot inside of one and will be taught to have nothing but pitty for the other childreb that are stuck there. Today your child has only a 50% chance of coming out of the 12th grade knowing how to read. It does not take more than 12 years to teach someone how to read - clearly something is wrong. Many people are pulling their kids out of public school because they want their kids to have a BETTER chance at becoming real people with good lives. The alternative school movement is bigger than ever and growing rapidly as our public school system fails us over and over again. I urge you to ask your parents about alternative schooling and to read books about what is REALLY going on in public schools.

Drop out while there's still hope
