: : As a worker at McDonalds I find that customers with your attitude are even more stupid and pig ignorant than the friendly, patient, hardworking and intelligent staff. I am about to complete my A levels and will go on to university-unlike you!!

: And when you come out of university with your degree, you snotty, self-righteous, jumped-up little bastard, you'll be lucky to get a job in McDonald's serving cack to the poor and hard of understanding for a pittance again. Be warned, it won't be so much to your satisfaction by then, because some extremely talented lecturer may have taught you to think (but I doubt if such talent exists outside a parallel universe).

: McSpotlight: *Ahem*. This is a forum for debate, not a place to trade personal abuse.

***Well, I do beg your pardon McSpotlight, but doesn't the arrogance of the assumption made about the customer just make you want to spew, even if the food fails to? By way of an apology,(even to ES)I offer the following anecdote. I took my daughters, then aged eight and four years respectively, into a McDonald's "restaurant" in a London suburb as a treat some years ago whilst visiting the capital.(This was our first and only McDonald's experience, before the rash of golden arches had spread across Britain and infected even the celtic fringes where I live.) The food left a lasting impression on them. So much so that if I was ever afterwards out shopping with them and they were playing me up, all I had to say was "If you don't bloody behave I'll take you straight into McDonald's for lunch!" and good behaviour would immediately result. I recommend it over other threats like "Wait until I get you home" for a fast modification in behaviour and it can still be effective as a deterrent if they give me a hard time, ten years on. By the way, we are not a predominantly vegetarian, health-food loving or even particularly choosy family, but it beats me how people can be conned into eating this muck by the commercial hype, or allow their kids to be similarly suckered. It tastes disgusting, if it tastes of anything at all and it's remarkably poor value for money. Don't be taken in. (You can see how friendly the staff are from ES, as well!)***
