Discrimination

Posted by: Leanne Smyth ( None, N.Ireland ) on February 22, 19100 at 17:04:31:

For my little sisters birthday (she turned 10), I took her to MacDonalds to get a happy meal. She really wanted a happy meal because she loves the film Toy Story 2. As she is a vegatarian, I asked them to give her a veggie burger with chips, but they said no and said that you only get burgers, chicken nuggets or fish fingers and chips in happy meals. I explain to them that my sister did not eat any kind of meat but they still said no. I was very angry and walked out of the shop and my sister did not get her toy along with the meal. I would love to make a formal complaint as this is a form of discrimination against children who are vegatarians, but I do not know how to go about it, I would greatly appreciate your advice so please right back. Thank you. Leanne Smyth.
