His kind does not belong in customer service, and I doubt will ever change at this point. If he was a teen at the register or DT, I would counsel him on proper conduct when dealing with the public, but if you haven't learned how to treat customers by the time you reached this wrung of the ladder, you don't belong in a service-oriented business. Period. This is not a good example for a young child to witness either.

I don't know if I would be able to honor all coupons in the auto because I'm not familiar with the quick food industry, and thus not up on the average coupon terms, but I would do everything in my power to make sure this customer and his family receives quality, hot food, and the utmost in pleasant service with a smile. Hopefully the driver will remember the service and forget his disappointment in the Corporate coupon terms.
