Debbie! They're not all bad! There are two in Grapevine, TX that are very good, and seemed to be staffed by caring people. I've had excellent burgers and fries at both of 'em and in less than 10 minutes to boot! Btw, they use the "Made For You" system, instead of the still-common "queing". To get to the point, teens are not incapable of learning to do good, efficient, quality work as your post seems to imply. My taste buds can testify that many do a damn good job.

As for the unmotivated employees who do sloppy and poor quality work, there can be a number of factors to explain the reason. And they're not all young people either, as my food customer experience has taught me. They could be spoiled brats whose parents never did anything to motivate them, coupled with managers who bury their heads like an osterich. As for the unmotivated adults, there's your proof that higher pay doesn't automatically mean better work ethic.

In closing, there are good and bad McD locations. And compared to people like Saddam Husseine and Ted Kaycenski aka The Unibomber, the Corp just doesn't seem so bad by comparison.

Just my thoughts!

Mike.
