: I have such a low view on why kids would want to drop out of school I mean if you realy take a look at were dropping out of school is going to get you, you would notice that most of them do not make it very far and if you think that you are going to be one of those kids that actually go some where by dropping out of school you might as well try winning the lottery because you have a better chance wiining it then you do of being the 12% that actually make it.I dont want to make your descion for you but I do want to let you know were it will take you.

Although I only know a few people who've dropped out of school, some have gone to TAFE, some have gotten apprenticeships, and one has gone to ADFA. But only one of those people doesn't have at least the beginnings of a good career.

Personally I've taken an unconventional approach to schooling and am currently studying by correspondence for my year 10 school certificate exams, and even though I'm not at school I'm doing pretty well so far. I study three or four days a week and the other days I either work or go out with my friends. I guess it's a sort of compromise between going to school and dropping out. You're right, you can't make the decision for me. I've made it, and so far, it's turned out fine.
