- Kids -

I don't think the topic is invalid.

Folks, what d'ya expect? This DR's title is "Kids", a vague title that. There is no disclaimer message at the start of this room saying what you can and cannot debate about. As for "wanting to conserve space", I can understand that, but I have noticed that a lot of the old messages in the "McDonald's" DR recently got flushed, and cleaning the closet eventually is inevitable at all forums.

But personally, I don't believe the "deadbeat dads" subject is invalid or "irrelevent", and again this room's title is "Kids". The thread's originator may not have read the moderator comment saying not to post about the issue. As the old saying goes "It takes two to tango." And I agree with the thread's originator. Many divorced fathers do need to show more commitment to their children, and not just from a pocketbook standpoint. Too many try to shut out their kids as though they don't exist.

Anyway, if the volunteers want to post this, fine, if they want to flush it, whatever. If Rex or Jill wish to post it, and then bitch me out for submitting it, I'll take the hit. Finally, I've got plenty of space at My forum. If you wish to get this issue or any other issue off your chest, then register at Delphi (It's absolutely free), and then let 'er rip! It's lonely over there, and you're certainly welcome to be a part.

McSpotlight: Mike, it's not entirely relevant here and there are places on the 'net which are actually dedicated to the subject in question; I think some of the old messages list a link to them. As for the old messages getting flushed, they've not actually been flushed; they're just not there at the moment, but they will hopefully be back.

If you wish to take the subject on your pages, you're welcome to, but it's not really what we're here for, however I may personally sympathize with some of the statements.
