I only got 3 ducks this year. I saw more than 8,000. Have you ever sat by a marsh and watched ducks? They are definity not helpless because if they were they would never survive in the wild. The coyotes and foxes would kill all of them. Besides I like meat. What do you think that our early relatives ate? The only reason that we have vegitarians now is because people can chose to be picky and eat what they want because all that you have to do is go to the grocery store and pick up something. I hunted for about 4 months this year and only took 4 phesants, 3 ducks, and some other small game. Mostly because this was my first year and because I didn't have the proper equitment. What would you rather see? Somebody hunting or somebody who has to much time on there hands and does drugs and gets into all kinds of stuff. Have you ever tried to sneek up on an animal within 30 or 40 yards? Thats basicly how close that you have to get to take a shot. What about bow and arrow hunting? You try to hit a paper plate at 40 yards. Its not easy! If any thing animals have far more of an advantage than hunters. Deer can smell 10,000 times better than a human and any animal can hear a noisy human from far off. Have you ever seen the land that is bought with the money that sportsmen spend on lisenses and stamps. Hundreds of millions of acers have been saved from being developed into shopping malls and farming. The animals wouldn't be there at all if it wasn't for that. Get the facts straight. Do reaserch on both sides of the issue and see what you think. Also I bet that you live in the city. I feel sorry for you. I get to enjoy nature here on a farm. KIDS, DUCK HUNTING AND ANY OTHER KIND OF HUNTING IS ABSOLUTLY RIGHT!!! None.
