Cutting through all the psycho-babble posted and spoke here and elsewhere,let me state that I believe that those who committed this horrible, criminal act of murderous violence did it for their "15 Minutes Of 'Fame'". They had no damn regard for human life, theirs or that of their fellow students or teachers. The simple fact is that there are cold, uncaring, evil people in the world. Do I have a cut-and-dry answer to how to stop these monsters from commiting their deeds of mass slaughter? No I don't. But it is not looking for other things to blame, such as "mainstream society", "the gun manufacturers", "the school system", "racism"(I don't for a minute believe that was the "reason". There was no "reason", other than to get attention.), and whatnot. Those who committed the murders and critical woundings are the ones that are guilty. Period.

The first step in creating a defense against future mayhem like that is for all politicians, law enforcement people, bureaucrats, the liberal population, AND conservative population to acknowledge that.

Playing the blame game as has been happening makes as much sense as blaming suicide, violence, and chemical dependancy on Ozzy Osbourne, his former band Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Marilyn Manson, and the "violence on TV".
