Fair Pay For The Poor

In the Uk. High profile charities like PDSA, Scope, Salvation army, British Heart Foundation are having plastic bags inserted by hand in polythene envelopes.

Not a hard task, I hear you say, please try and do it and relate it to the wage they get paid and let me know if the charities are not taking advantage of these people.

They have recently taken their business from the uk to China purely because of costs, waht I find hard to understand, the current low profits being made by charitable organisations in the uk are now being supplimented by low wages in the third world - in some cases people they are trying to support!

I would like to add if anyone has any doubts they should contact these
Charities in the UK and also seek a video called "Fair Pay For The Poor" issued by a London based charity called CAFOD.

The Vidoe clearly outlines "Supporting the local economy" excuse.
