I believe that noone forces you to look at the commercials or go to the stores. You have a choice. Everyone has the same opportunity to buy commercial time. I have met many people who are regular customers at their local McDonalds and it is their choice. They have a great relationship with the crew and managers, they get good consistent food how they want it, and a clean place to eat. If you had a business would you not advertise as much as possible to promote you service or product? Walmart and Kmart and Target fight for their customers with the same things: advertising, clean stores, friendly and fast service. Why pick on one company? Do BurgerKing, Wendy's and Taco Bell do anything different in regards to the issues that concern you? All I see on TV anymore is the star wars commercials for Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

So we have a choice about seeing adverts everywhere do we? I guess we could all close our eyes when walking past billboards or travelling on the train or walking down the high street. But then again, we can't close our childrens eyes when they do those things or watch TV at a friends house. McDonald's, TacoBell, PizaHut whatever - they are all the same. They promote unhealthy food for a quick buck and couldn't care less about the resulting damaging to people, animals or the environment - thats capitalism, like or loath it!
