I think it would be a good idea too, I'd love to see another competing chain come around to add more variety. That is why I loved it when Checkers opened up thier first stores on Long Island last year. (Thier fries are the best!!) However, I think I can answer your question as to why there are no healthy fast food chains besides Subway(and most of thier sandwhiches arent that healthy either). I dont know if this is exactly true or not, but this is what I think. Most peoples favorite foods are hamburgers, fries and pizza. Hamburgers are the favorite of all, and thats why the two biggest fast food places are hamburger restaurants (McD and BK). In order to make all the items in a hamburger restaurant healthy, they would have to make the burgers and fries fat-free. Everybody knows that it is fat that makes everything taste so good. (It's proven) So if BK and McD made all thier food fat free, customers would taste the difference right away. No one would like it, and they'd lose all thier customers and go out of business.
Besides, as unhealthy as it may be, you can still eat at BK or McD once or twice or three times a week and it won't do your body any harm. Its only when you eat there twice a day every day and don't exercise that you have to worry. I work at BK 5 days a week, and every day I eat BK when I go on break, but I am also active so I always burn off the calories I eat, and as a result, I am not fat or unhealthy. I've been eating at BK 5 times a week for the past 5 years and because I exercise, I am healthy. My cholesterol, blood pressure, body fat etc.. are all good
