I am a parent, and I don't agree with Mc Donalds practices, however i have a four year old. They visit the creche,they bring farm animals in mobile pens, they represent solid status among children and far from being good as you might imagine, cutting Mc Donalds from their lives would by far have severe negative effects on children.
you can't explain the soya bean ethos to a child. you simply cannot. i'd rather buy my child a happy meal today then listen to them tell me how i killed all their fun (they have birthday parties too!) tomorrow.
