: : : Please, if anyone sees any sanity in the this mans claim that Mc Donalds should be brought down, please explain it to me....email me with your explanations.

: : : McSpotlight: Define "ethical".

: : If your so intent on defending McHell and want an explanation emailed to you, it might have helped if you had given an email address. Sorry you feel this way, but obviously you have never been screwed by McHell!

: I see McSpotlight is taking the Clinton defense again! They say "Define 'ethical'" (like Clinton saying "Define 'alone' and 'sex'"!) Hey! It's in the DICTIONARY!!! This web site is the only place on the internet where you can find any info on "McLibel" and the other stuff they claim. Makes me wonder how important the whole thing really is. I doubt British even pay attention at all. Probably cared more about Bill Clinton's impeachment trial! Maybe this is just an anit-capitalist, anti-American organization simply jealous that Great Britain can't be so free!

: There's one thing I know for sure: McDonald's stock price is at an all-time high of $85 9/16! Ka-ching, Ka-ching!!! Well, I only own 8 shares, so I ain't getting rich for sure, but it's a start!

: McSpotlight: We're certainly *not* the only place on the Web that mentions McLibel; it's just that, at over 20,000 pages of html, we're the biggest, since we deal *fully* with it.

: If you're trying to go with the dictionary definition, I'd say the McDonald's were unethical; they exploit children, exploit the Third World, foster an unhealthy diet in the name of profit and try to use their financial muscle to silence criticism. However, since everyone has their own sense of ethics, the original poster could have thought that this behaviour was perfectly ethical. Hence the remark.

: As for trials, Bill who? We're watching the McLibel appeal.

Since as MAcspotlight says 'ethical' can mean many different things to different people I understood their request for you to define ethics as what do you see as ethical, not what the dictionary defines it as.
some people can bend the dictionary defination, just like clinton did.
I have absolutely no idea why there should be any comparison between this libel action and clinton, nor can i understand the reason for name calling as in "Maybe this is just an anit-capitalist, anti-American organization simply jealous that Great Britain can't be so free! "
since I see nothing to be proud of in the clinton hypocracy from the land of the free.
Hey we can be interested in more than one thing at a time.
and as far as i see it the burger available in my local franchise proberly doesn't bear any resemblence to the one sold of the back of a hand cart in year whatever. in fact it doesn't resemble food at all. Have you ever broken a chicken nugget in half and smelt it? yuuukkk
