I think that it would be totally morally justifiable to burn down the Golden Arches. However, this is almost never the best tactic. I've said it before and I'll say it again, most McD's have this thing called insurance....
Sometimes violence can be the right tactic, like the ELF's destruction of the ski lift last year bought the wildlife some time and got the issue into the news. However, in the case of destroying a McD's, there would be almost no positive repurcussions, only further blackening the name of "vegetarian," "activist," etc.
And no, I'm not just saying this to divert attention from my retributive deeds...
