Hmmm! I thought most ordinances prohibited frying different food items in the same cooking oil, or so the posts on these boards make out.

But at least here I think the local McD's and BK's have fryers reserved solely for fries, and probably segregated fryers for the Filet-O-Fish and the Nuggets.

As for veggie oil, I hear that because most of that stuff is "partially hydrogenated", this by-product called "saturated fat" is created, which experts say is much worse than good old fashioned lard. I'm only a layman, not a scientist or doctor, so I'm not up on all that science process which makes the veggie fat dangerous. But the experts say "It's a killer!".
