: Our oils are not mixed ever. There are 3 friers that are STRICTLY used for fries and hashbrowns, 1 fryer that is used for McNuggets, one fryer for Crispy Chicken and one fryer for filet. The oils are never mixed and we use 100% vegetable shortening in all stores

I know where I work the fries are cooked in some sort of beef shortening, and do go through the same filtering device as the vegetable oils used in the chicken and filet vats. Granted, it's fry oil first, then the vegetable shortening, but it does go through the same filter nonetheless.
