McWaste, is society to blame?

Recently, as part of an economics assignment our class visited McDonalds for an "investigative lunch" . After finishing our meals we placed our rubbish at the front of the class. Frankly, I was shocked at the sheer volume of rubbish we had. But, is Mcdonald's to blame? In my opinion, McDonalds is not to blame, the cause of the problem is actually the society which we have created which favours efficiency and outcomes over conservation. If people could postpone their hectic lives for an hour and buy a meal that does not come in excessive wrapping,There would not be the amount of rubbish associated with take away "convenient" meals.

WAKE UP AUSTRALIA!!
