Not to mention that McDonald's CHOOSES their suppliers. Nobody is holding a gun to Mr. CEO's head and saying "you must use suppliers that deforest our planet... or else". They do it because it's relatively inexpensive and thus creates a larger profit margin. They could chose other suppliers, but they don't. And why should they? They don't care about our planet or its people, just the big Dollar Sign in the sky.
