I too am a McDonalds Emolyee as well. One differance though. I live in Australia. All you Americans do is complain about one another. All this lady had to do was say 'Can i please switch that soft-drink for a water, i understand that i will still be paying the full price'

It was simply a comunication problem most likely caused by crew who wern't paying attention. Crew must learn that part of their job (although it can get hard at times) is to please the customer. Shame on you McDonalds America.

It also seem i must add that this lady did not explain herself properly to the crew person. (typical female)Don't expect the crew person to read your mind.
