McSpotlight: It's not the case in the UK, though, and it's not the case on the 'net; as such, it's best to be cautious - you can never be entirely certain where on the 'net a server is; if your (allegedly defamatory) comments wound up on a hard disk in a place where a hostile Megacorp could sue you, they'd have a damn good try.

For this reason, McSpotlight exists in several countries; to take us down, McD's would have to try and issue suits in 5 or 6 different countries simultaneously (think of the legal difficulties) and we always have back-up countries open to us that we can shift to in a day or two.
