What does this say about us?

What does this say about us?

It says we are the unfortunate result of the current status-quo. I think it must be fair to say that Television plays an enormous role in educating a large percentage of the population. I rang the television station to find which shows were the most popular. No surpirises, it was the mindless drivel that supports a particular way of thinking - ie. the obsession with the self and our imediate relationships.

I don't blame people for not having the time or the energy to address current issues (well, I do, but I try not to). As a whole - the current drive for EXONOMIC GROWTH and FULL EMPLOYMENT is keeping the population too busy and exhausted to think about anything else.

McDonalds (of course) is part of a much bigger problem. This problem is a concern to a large number of people. One day it will be THE PRIMARY concern of even more. The Hope is, that that day is soon because we educate, rather than later because we have to.
