: I´m a student from Mexico, and a teacher recomended this site to me. I never imagined that there was another side to McDonald´s. Sometimes you can get really carried away with the advertising and actually believe what they´re saying. If everything on this site is true, then the next time I´m hungry, I will really consider somewhere else to go to eat, besides, MacDonald´s hamburgers have never really been good at all, the locations and promotions is what really did it for me. Oh, yeah, and the fries.

Yes, there are two sides to everything--actually, three--one side, the other side, and the truth, somewhere in the middle. You certainly have the right to choose for yourself what foods to eat or not eat, but don't be deluded into thinking everything you see on this site is true. Far from it. While many things written here are true, there are just as many that are exaggerated, presented from a specific point-of-view, or simply untrue. Use this site to balance the advertising/propaganda but use your own intelligence and judgement to decide what to believe.

McSpotlight: "Judge for yourself"; it's on our base page. We've never pretended to be utterly objective (except in the Debating Rooms); we function as a counterweight to McDonald's advertising.
