Ever heard of vegie McD's ? Well, they have them in India, because most of the Hindu people in india ( over 80% I think ), especially in Northern Regions are vegetarian.

This clearly shows that McD's will change their attitude if people boycott their products. In India it was due to Religious reasons. If the rest of the world did the same, on moral grounds, then McD's will HAVE to re-think their strategy. They will have to understand that the earth is not a big Mc, meant to devoured by a greedy few.

P.S. By the way, one of the coalition partners in the present government in India, the Shiv Sena party, with its (in)famous leader Bal Thackery, is opposed to the McDonald's, and have openly threatened to destroy it. They actually destroyed a KFC. This is when they were in the opposition. Now that they are in the government, who knows what is going to happen.

McSpotlight: A small point; it's actually the south of India that is mainly Hindu and vegetarian; the north is where most of India's Muslim population lives.
