: The whole point is to avoid supporting the meat industry in any way. Of course, if it is just the TASTE of dead cow flesh you don't like, you many not be concerned with this, but you will still find the offensive taste and smell of burnt flesh almost impossible to remove from the rest of the sandwich, which will absorb the bloody juices and burning fat.

Me: I am not actually a vegetarian, but I do not like the McDonald's meat, so that I why I have my burger without meat. I have never actually tried ordering a burger with meat and then remove the meat, but I can imagine how hard it would be. I was just demonstrating to the other person why people order burgers without meat rather than taking the meat off. I also agree that if you were vegetarian, by buying a burger and then taking the meat off, the animal still died for that meat which was cooked for you. I wasn't advocating that people should order burgers and then take the meat off.
