Well in Australia they're is a very serious approach to the litter problem. Firstly McDonalds has litter patrol bins these are big red bin used to clean up the lot and the surrounding block. Our maintence personnel walk around the full block of our store every morning removig rubbish and it is not only mcdonalds rubbish. crew are sent on lot checks thru out the day and they also collect any rubbish in the lot of course with the risk of needle stick injuries there are tools to use and guidelines to follow. McDonalds is also a major sponser for the clean up Australia day held annually in march.
