It's not about being rewarded for your efforts.

It's not about being rewarded for your efforts. Noboby at my restuarant accepts the validity of performance reviews and those OCL's we suddenly find we've 'completed'. We are all aware that McDonald's are using us with rates of pay only marginally above the minimum but the truth is every part time crew member who works at McDonald's is using them in return. No where else could I get a job during my A-Level years that was one shift a week, and, if you know how, on what ever day, at what ever time you like. It works both ways so nobody who works there gives a shit. If we did We'd ALL quit.
