Disappointing but also positive

As one of a group that successfully fought a proposed McDonald's development in the beautiful Blue Mountains, New South Wales, I share the widespread disappointment about the decision. I was never over-optimistic, as my opinion of the British legal system is not very high (eg the imprisonment of inocent 'IRA terrorists'). However, it seems that the decision wa smade on fiarly narrow legal grounds, and the judge's adverse comments about Macca's are a great leap forward and can be used to great effect by all activists. Keep up the good work: there are many supporters out here.
