McVCE?

Hello,
I'm a concerned parent. I currently have two children doing there final year of studies in year 12 and I was curious about the news one of them brought home last week. It seems that the education minister, David Kemp, has planned to include a Certificate in Food Retail at Mcdonalds as part of the VCE in the coming years. I have another child who is currently doing year 9 and looking for part time work. I was hoping, if it is not too much trouble, if you could fill me in with the details involved in the McVCE scheme and tell me of your stance and thoughts of the proposed plan.
