A woman here tipped a cup of their nasty coffee into her lap some months ago. She filed suit and won. She can't drink their coffee any more either. All for the best I think. I aquired a very bad case of food poisoning at one. I don't eat the food anymore.: I am banned from McDonald's for asking for fresh coffee. I was asked to never come into that store again. I have visited the store for 2 years. It is the Sydney Entertainment Centre McDonalds.

McSpotlight: The case you're probably referring to is the famous Liebeck case of 1992, in which a 79-year old grandmother suffered third-degree burns over six per cent of her skin surface from McD's coffee. You can find full details at the CAOC (Consumer Attorneys of California) website.
