: Our society and the fast food industry feed off each other, bottom line. so everyone should take a look around at the real issues plaguing society and start to change those problems instead of placing blame on one restaurant that sells fat, hungry Americans on- the-go exactly what they want.

I couldn't agree with you more except on this last point. You say that our society and things like the fast food industry feed off each other. In saying this, aren't you saying that our fast food industry contributes to what kind of society we have? Doesn't it follow from this that society can be changed by changing the fast food industry?

Are you saying that our time would be better spent trying to fix society DIRECTLY as opposed to trying to alter it by messing with the fast food industry? If so, then how would you have us take this more direct approach? Families, government, education, economics, ecology, self-development, what? Aren't these just ASPECTS of our "society" just like coporate power, greed, and health are? Isn't this site addressing the latter and even the former?
