Stopping SLAPPs

I hope that you will be able to persuade Parliament to engraft some freedom of speech exceptions to the Draconian libel laws, particularly where the purported libel is a matter of public interest. In the USA, this case would never get to trial. Recently, many states have passed special legislation to allow an early motion to dismiss a defamation case when it is shown that the suit is brought to suppress speech, as this one certainly was.

I have refused to spend money at McDonalds for several years for all of the reasons stated in the London Greenpeace leaflet.
