I've just read your very interesting statement. I have a few things I would like to say in response.

1. I helped with the legal crap in the court of appeal. I spent eighteen hours a day working whilst Dave and Helen were in the Court of Appeal. I'm also a law student, and was at university at the time. So, instead of assuming that you are the only person in the owrl dthat is 'busting his arse', and the rest of us sat trying to take over the worl, think again!

2. I'm also a very big meat eater. I hate most vegetables. I sat and ate lunch with Dave and Helen most days that we were in the Court of Appeal. They didn't want to shoot me for it. Because some people (Like the great, late Linda McCartney) ask people to consider it, they don't force it down peoples throats. I eat meat, and I am a very big McLibel supporter.

3. As for McDonalds corporation, unlike other corporations (Your words, definately not mine.) using profits to help re-cycling, I think you ought to look through the McSpotlight website. In the evidence section, you will find the details from the Attorney General of Texas, who threatened McDonalds because of their advertsing over recycling. You will also find some very interesting facts within the judgements of both the Trail at first instance and the Court of Appeal.

4. So as not to go on, I will only add more thing. Many supporters of this movement are not all hippy, vegitarian, anarchist anti capitalists. I am fervent capitalist, I eat lots of meat, I do not wish to see McDonalds shut down (although many people do!) I just wish to see McDonalds change many of their core business practices. These include their Health and safety proceedures. The dive proceedure, for example, can be very dangerous, as the 'dive' must be left to air dry six inches above the floor. They are put on bun trays, which means that the water does go directly onto the floor. THIS CAUSES SLIPS AND FALLS, which resulted in my fracturing two vertibrae. If you look at my previous article, you'll see that I'm also opposed to their advertising tactics to young children.

So, in your article, lets hear both sides, I suggest that when you try to show your immature 'contempt' you do it such a way as to not make you look like an ignoramous who likes to do as the chinese do, dictate to others and expect them to agree!
