What's wrong getting a fast bite to eat?

I have worked at McDonalds for over a year now. Sure, they cheeply raise cattle to provide the beef, but thats what the public wants to eat, so if you don't like McDonalds, don't eat there. It is a great place to work. I can work as many hours as I want, or don't want to, and have my flexible hours so I can go to College at the same time. Many have worked at McDonalds franchise stores where they are independently ran, so the rules may be more tough, but I work at a corporate store where all of us employees are good friends and work together as a team to earn money and have fun at the same time. Of course customers treat us like we are deaf, blind and idiots, but you get used to it, and may be treated the same with any customer service job. The pay isn't bad either, we get raises every three months, and you can get promoted very quickly, even if you aren't 18. Don't diss on McDonalds, they teach you job skills, and it looks good on a resume.

McSpotlight: If McDonald's caused no harm to the environment and no suffering to animals, that might be a valid point of view; unfortunately, the knock-on effects of McDonald's affect everyone in the world regardless of how they feel about McD's.
