: : I said I don't think with the herd and you don't know me, but you can assume I don't know myself.

: Was it not you who called Helen Steele a "hypocrite" without even knowing her? Why then complain about people judging you without knowing who you are? This is of course assuming I have judged you at all because I thought I made it absolutely clear what I mean by the phrase "you and your kind". What I had in mind when writing the phrase was a picture of a liberal capitalist who believes in the unfettered freedom of capital. Freedom that should not be regulated by any laws or public criticism. Now if to you this picture is the same as that of a right-wing religious bigot, then it is your problem.

I do feel like Helen Steele is a hypocrite. I don't think I've made that big of a leap in thinking that. Obviously you disagree. She put herself in the spotlight so I think that leaves her "fair game" .
No, I don't have that picture in mind. So often the religous right is considered the same as the republican party ( which is pro-business) that stereotypes abound. I am pro-capitalism, but a not a die-hard Republican--I voted for Clinton twice. Just threw that in so no presumptions could be made.
