You can criticise grammar – using words like ‘gud’?
Meat-eating (with a hyphen) is definitely good for many species’ intelligence if the animal kingdom is anything to go by. Take a look at the more intelligent ones and in general they are either carnivores or omnivores.
What seems to really bug vegans more than anything is that most humans love to eat meat too. The reason is simple: it tastes ’gud’.
(By the way it is simply not true that Chinese people eat very little meat, at least if given the choice. They eat stacks of it. And this was the case in predominately Chinese countries like Singapore and Hong Kong long before those countries became affluent.)
The treatment of animals is a separate issue, and although it can be improved in the UK apparently, beef cattle in many countries have quite contented lives ruminating in lush pastures without worrying about predators for 24 hours a day as they would in the wild.
Blaming McD’s for promoting meat is about as much use as blaming Timberland or Clark’s shoes for promoting leather.
As regards mice in burgers, certainly if there were ever a vegan restaurant chain on the scale of McDonald’s you can be sure that sooner or later some part of a mouse would work its way into someone’s veggie burger. Condoms too probably.
