I find it very interesting that those who subscribe to a non-meat lifestyle are much more articulate in their responses, as well as very informed in their facts. They seem not to degrade themselves by using derogatory terms and nasty labels directed toward vegetarians. Why is the world so bothered by people who choose not to eat meat? It just doesn't make sense to me? Why should you care?

Hmmmm, I wonder if the consumption of meat and the reduction of brain cells have any direct correlation? Now, I know this opinion will probably generate some hateful remarks, but if that is what makes you feel better as a person, then more power to you!

But, I leave you with one of my favorite quotes: "The beef industry has contributed to more American deaths than all the wars of this century, all natural disasters, and all automobile accidents combined. If beef is your idea of 'real food, for real people', you'd better live real close to a real good hospital." Neal D. Barnard, MD, President, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
