"Killing" animals isn't always wrong. What about rabid dogs and cats, that lead tortured existences until they crash and bleed, or those that have been hit by cars and are maimed and suffering but still alive?

I believe in mercy deaths, and dispute your statement that killing animals is always wrong, though I am aware I took it far out of context.
