'Beaten people' (aka. peons to consumerism)

Last time I went to McD's(I desperately needed a coffee fix), I was depressed by the droves of fat, slovenly people solemnly enjoying their fries and burgers. I then realised I was the only person wearing natural fibres in the whole place, which was largely el cheapo polyester. I was in the domain of the "Franklin Mint Collectibles"/ Fundo Christian set!

If these people know as much about style/dress sense as they do nutrition, then I'm blissfully happy being vegetarian. Also, with regard to the fundos who stick up for McD's, then I'm happy I'm not one. The mere scent of them would be enough to send St Thomas Aquinas or Sir Francis Bacon running back to Bible College!
