: McSpotlight: Meateater, that's not very creative, can't you do better than that?

McSpotlight, you reserve the right to edit messages that are irrelevant , abusive, etc. so why would you allow the previous message which obviously didn't further any debate? Seems to me that you just saw an easy target that you could attack, thus (apparently) strengthening your position. If you wish for your site to have any credibility at all, an open debate must be encouraged with both sides represented. If you edit or poke fun at all who disagree with you, your "debate" is a joke and your cause laughable. Of course, I don't expect that anyone else will have a chance to view this message, since I choose to detract from your perfect world where everybody agrees with you.

McSpotlight: I allowed the previous message through because I didn't want to be accused of stifling debate; my comment was not meant in any sarcastic tone at all; exasperation, maybe; errare humanem est. And if we thought this was a perfect world and everyone agreed with us, where would be the point in a Debating Room of any sort at all?

Both sides are represented; neither side is distorted; if my comment caused anyone offence, I apologize unreservedly and wholeheartedly. For the purposes of the debate we are neutral
