I buy organic food when I can and don't buy from companies who perpetrate cruelty on humans or animals unless it is absolutely unavoidable. But first of all, there are not enough of us abstaining, and secondly, it is still impossible to avoid multinationals entirely. and it is getting harder now that governments are letting them in to public works such as education, roadways, hospitals, etc. and of course countries have become so dependent on them that most would go into something comparable to a concurrent toxic shock/withdrawal if the corporate capital was taken away. It isn't simple. None.
