It's amazing to me how many people who shoot down American Pop culture also try their hardest to imitate it. The American culture is a culture built on the pursuit of happiness. We work so that we can enjoy the finer things in life. We enjoy our various forms of entertainment, whether they are music, video games, books, and the like. If others try to emulate our culture, then that is their choice. Personally, I prefer American culture to that of any other type ofculture where self-expression is frowned upon. Ultimately, American culture is the culture of self-expression. And EVERYONE has a right to (responsibly) express themselves. None.
