- Multinationals -McLIbel Documentary
I saw the documentary last night on TV and I just wanted to say that I have a lot of admiration for Dave and Helen. Having worked for a multinational myself (Yellow Pages) I know the pressure of anti-union behaviour. I always knew that McDonalds and other "junk food" was bad however the programme last night showed just how bad they really are. I found similarities in the operation of McDonalds to the Cigarette companies who exploit children for profit. Its hard to actually do if you've been doing it for years, but I am going to make an effort to eliminate or at least decrease the junk food intake in my diet. I definitely know I dont need McDonalds in my "balanced diet"! None.
