Be careful of worrying over evertime someone suggest any product might be bad. Theres always something. It gets a lot of publicity and than you never here of it again. Remember Cellular phones a couple years ago? No one is to worried about them now.

EC:
You and the cellular phone industry are the only ones not concerned about the danger! And most new cellular phones are now shielded to prevent the levels of exposure of the earlier models, all because some "leftwing anticapitalists" told the truth.

As far as aspartame is concerned, you are burying your head in the sand on this one. This previously banned substance is not only unneccesary in a human diet, it is detrimental to health. But you know this, don't you? You haven't bothered to read the link I provided, and instead quoted an organization primarily funded by Nutra-Sweet and other "diet" foods producers.

Sprout:
Just concentrate on a diet that is known to be healthy. Limit fat, particularly saturated and hydrogenated, and eat plent of fruit, veggies, whole grains and legumes. Drink lots of water and get some excersice.

EC:
Excellent advice. Sometimes you make good sense.

Sprout:
Don't sweat over every fear mongering statement made by some left wing anticapitalist antimultinational nut looking to make a name for themself.

EC:
And sometimes you sound like a reactionary tory.
