Animal testing is a cruel inhumane act that is not needed.
1. The products that are tested are not crucial for our survival.
2. Human lives have been saved but they have also been lost because animal testing normally does not produce the same results as that object would on a human. Animals should not suffer so that humans can live and be more comfortable.
3. Animals would not be overpopulated if we left them alone. You see this thing use to exist called a food chain. Humans killed all of the predators so that does not work but if the predators were put back the animals would not be overpopulated. Animal testing does not keep the animal populations down. Hunting does occur and I don't feel sorry for those people who do get shot when they are hunting. If they want to kill something that way they run the risk of getting shot. That their own choice.
The animals are not helping us to live longer. Helping is when that creature chooses to do something that benefits something else. These animals are forced to die painful deaths and live horrible lives.
