Animal testing has a positive and a negative

I've been doing research for my final exam in high school regarding to animal testing. I've come to the conclusion that there is two sides to the experimentation. There are positives such as the finding of insulin for diabetes, chemotherapy, and vaccines for polio, rubella, and chicken pox. Those are good experimentations for people who are alive because of those serums or cures. But when it comes to the negatives like: the decision of man to decide for the animals to test, cruelty, testing for stupid things like pens, makeups, or unesessities for humans to live. I understand that there are major reasons for experimentation, but i also realize that some of the experiments are really stupid, somebody is trying to make a dollar for killing an animal and using it's body to create something to write with or make somebody look good. that is rediculous, and if you are going to use the animal, don't use a little part of the body, use the whole thing for different experimentations and/or different cures. The next time you open up an animal for experimentation, think to yourself "If i were laying on that table, would i want somebody to decide without my permission, whether or not i want them to kill me to make some sort of new makeup? or would i rather die for millions of others lives?"

Thank you taking the time to read this.
