But most of the people who do the research actually care. For a while at least.

Lastly, do a little research on how many people die of cancer compared to viral infections. Hello. The reason cancer is important is b/c people in the good old US of A have it. Go to india or africa. They don't live long enough to get cancer. And so why doesn't the biotech industry go after malaria.....b/c, even if that cure turned out to be a drop of water, it would be too expensive, and non-profitable, to give to anyone.
