In response to Mr. Duncan:

I have also worked for IBM for 27 years and have also never seen the treatment which you describe. I have heard many complaints that were investigated promptly and completely. These situations that you describe just do not happen in IBM without a prompt response. I would expect a response again to tell us all what happened as a result of your complaint. I am proud to have worked for IBM. I was relieved of my management position because of a complaint which had to be addressed. The question of guilt in not important here. The principal of the dignity of the individual was at stake and the action to remove me as manager was necessary. The action by management was immeadiate and in the best interest of all. I am now 73 years old and look back with pride to have participated. I left IBM and formed my own company. I coninued to run my company as we did things at IBM.

Mr. Duncan, I can assure you that there are many companies that will and perhps have hired you because you were qualified to be an IBM employee. I wish you luck in your new position.
